Qureshi, Jamal M.D.
Dr. Jamal Qureshi was born and raised in the Milwaukee area. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He then obtained his medical degree from Saba University. He did his residency in Internal Medicine, for which he is Board Certified, with University of Wisconsin affiliated hospitals in Milwaukee. After working as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health for four years, he pursued a fellowship in Gastroenterology at University of Wisconsin affiliated hospitals in Milwaukee. He is currently Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Qureshi has authored a number of gastroenterology articles and has been invited to present his research at national scientific meetings. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Qureshi is interested in the management of all general gastrointestinal disorders and liver disease, with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease and prevention of colorectal cancer.
He is fluent in Spanish and Hindi. He spends his free time watching sports and spending time with his wife and four children
