Dr. William Blosky
Dr. William Blosky, a native of Wisconsin, grew up in the Milwaukee area and has practiced medicine in the Midwest throughout his career. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame, he attended medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His fellowship in Gastroenterology was completed at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Dr. Blosky has been involved in teaching and various aspects of Graduate Medical Education (GME), having served on GME committees and subcommittees in the past. He has performed research on Barrett’s esophagus, the results of which have been presented at an international conference.
Dr. Blosky is passionate about working with patients to resolve a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases ranging from acid reflux (GERD) and colon cancer screening to inflammatory bowel disease and disorders of the liver. Patients have recognized him for his outstanding patient care and excellent communication skills.
Dr. Blosky is a devoted Packers fan and sports enthusiast. As a former collegiate rower, he enjoys staying active at the gym and experiencing all of the outdoor activities that Wisconsin has to offer.
Dr. Blosky is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
